Maggie's Baptism

Maggie was baptized this last Sunday at Shadow Rock. It was a nice ceremony. Ken (the minister) mixed in some poignant imagery about the significance and scarcity of water here in the Valley.
For us in Arizona, we know that we live in one of the driest places on Earth, water is a precious commodity... Water is everything. Water is life. We claim the joy of water and the way it sustains and nourishes us. Let it flow and pour and sprinkle for all people, that all may know each day the gift of love from God through water.
I was sure Debra would start balling at some point, but she held it together. Thank you to Ken and our parents for helping to make the day so special.
